If you are a woman approaching menopause or peri-menopause, or who have gone through menopause, Pilates 'Pause has been created with you in mind. There is so much information about the menopause these days that it can be difficult to tell the science from the snake oil. These retreats provide a space where you can be yourself, discuss what is going on for you, receive support and understanding, but also learn some of the science that can help you to nurture your body as your needs begin to change.
Pilates 'Pause is a mini-retreat where you will enjoy an hour of movement designed specifically for women during menopause, eat a locally sourced, nourishing meal freshly prepared by Kate from Orchard Kitchen (whose food is divine), and take part in a talk about how to use food and nutrition to support your body during menopause and beyond. Dr Suzanne Haynes from Belle Vitale Wellness has over 25 years experience in the health and fitness industry and a PhD in biomedical sciences and blends scientific expertise with real-world coaching and a deep passion for women’s wellness - so definitely not snake oil!
This uplifting experience will take place in the beautiful Long Barn based at Humble by Nature, just outside of Monmouth. Toilets and parking are provided.
